Beacon of Light

I would like to be a Beacon
Of Light out in the sea
So all the ships lost in the dark
Could find their way to me.

Steer their craft along the waves
Light up the sky above
Show them Truth & Hope & Faith
Introduce our God of Love.

For Fellow man for planet earth
For all things great and small
Untie the ropes, cast out their nets
Teach Equality for All

Their lives would then be happy
Their hearts would be full too
And if they start to weaken
They would know just what to do.

Unfurl their sails, steer out again
For the Beacon that they know
(it's really there within their hearts
they won't have far to go)!
